Festival

We are well into the swing of Summer now and with this, festival season is in the air. Whether you're a metalhead, pop princess, part of the kpop army or a lover of all genres, there will be a concert for you this month. Below is a list of a few festivals and concerts that are not too far from our amazing hotels, meaning you need not camp out in the mud, but instead, sleep on a comfy, clean bed.

British Summer Time

The British Summer Time concert at Hyde Park is a massive, internationally revered festival. The festival typically spans over three weeks during the end of June and beginning of July, only showing performers on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday's of each week. The first official British Summer Time concert occurred in 2013, seeing artists such as Bon Jovi, The Rolling Stones and JLS headlining.

Concerts at Hyde Park began in the 1890s, but the first concert that resembles what we know now came in 1968 when the first rock concert occurred. Performers such as Pink Floyd and Jethro Tull took to the stage in front of 15,000 fans.

Since then, the official British Summer Time concert has diversified its roster. This year's headliners are:
